Our Construction Background
The Liftroller concept was born from genuine frustration on the building site. Founder Ivar Ole Wik, working as a construction manager in Europe, was tired of the daily logistical nightmares and safety risks involved in moving materials into multi-storey buildings. He decided to build the solution he wished he had: a system that was fast, adaptable, and uncompromising on safety.
The story continued when Andrew Ferguson encountered the solution overseas. With deep roots in the local industry, Andrew recognized that Australian sites faced the exact same battles: congested loading zones, crane dependencies, and height-safety risks. He saw Liftroller as the missing link for Australian construction. Bringing this technology to our shores was driven by a genuine heart for height safety - moving the industry away from dangerous manual handling and towards smarter, mechanized logistics.
